[2024] Best Graphics Cards (GPU) Deals For Black Friday & Cyber Monday

GPU Republic is reader-supported. We follow a strict editorial process and put hours of research into testing, reviewing, analyzing & comparing the best products that we can find so you can make the most informed decisions. In the event you choose to buy something from one of the links on our site, we may make a commission at no extra cost to you. Whatever products we recommend, it’s because we truly believe in them, not because of the small commission we may receive. Please don’t buy any of these products unless you actually think that it would fit your needs.

It’s a great time to be alive, especially as the prices of GPUs are falling and Black Friday graphics card deals are already kicking off in mid-October. Many mid-range and high-end cards are being sold below the MSRP level and there’s plenty of stock available that GPU vendors need to get rid of before the arrival of next-gen Nvidia and AMD cards.

Everyone has their eyes on Black Friday and Cyber Monday to grab their favorite card, so vendors will have to make sure that they offer cutting-edge prices to sell more units. We strongly believe that this holiday season everyone should try to get their hands on high-end graphics cards, given what we have experienced in the past and plans made by manufacturers to clear the old stock off shelves.

According to Digital Trends, the RTX 3080, which was 149% more expensive back in January of 2022, is now below the list price. Likewise, the RTX 3090 Ti is already being sold for $1,000 on eBay. Furthermore, AMD’s RTX 6000 Series cards have seen a steep decline in prices from Q1 of 2024.

If you are on the hunt for the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals for graphics cards, then you may be pleasantly surprised to know that there’s a lot to come this time compared to the past two years. Hopefully, this holiday season will bring cheaper deals on graphics cards for bargain hunters.

This Year’s Best Black Friday GPU Deals

We will keep updating the list as we get closer to the Black Friday 2024. But for now, these are the best deals to go with:

When do the deals start for Black Friday and Cyber Monday?

This year, Black Friday will be on November 25th and Cyber Monday will fall on the 28th of November, but this year we are already witnessing the deals hit Amazon and eBay from the starting in October of 2022.

Right now, many graphics cards from AMD and Nvidia are being sold at less than 13% to 20% sticker price level. So, will these prices continue to plunge before Black Friday fully sets in? We think the answer is quite probably, yes.

According to PCWorld, the prices of graphics cards have already dropped by 50% and the reason for this drop is the pending arrival of next-generation cards from AMD and Nvidia. Also, Intel on the other side is preparing to launch their Arc-Series graphics card to claim their piece of the pie in the GPU market. Lastly, the bursting of the cryptocurrency bubble and switch by Ethereum from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake means miners are less interested in buying graphics cards, potentially reducing demand as supply had been increased.

All of these facts lead to just one conclusion: that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are already set to bring us a drop in the price tags of most if not all GPUs. “Black Friday” sales on graphics cards can already be found on Amazon and eBay.

There’s an average monthly decrease in GPU prices between 3% to 14% according to Tomshardware. In August 2022, the RTX 3090 GPU saw a 9.5% price cut, which brings its price tag almost closer to its retail price. Whereas the RTX 3090 Ti, one of the most powerful cards out there, has seen a huge 14% decline in price since August.

Surprisingly, there is a lot of price slashing even in the high-end of the graphics card market compared to the entry-level and mid-range tiers. Another study by PCPartPicker shows that AMD and Nvidia cards are falling over the past few months. See the graph below

source: PCcartpicker

As you can see in the graph above, the prices of some of the most in-demand cards have already started to fall as we are getting closer to the big event in November of this year. We are quite sure that vendors are going to offer a Cyber Monday GPU deal bundle to sell more inventory as well. Regardless if it’s Black Friday or Cyber Monday, it’s quite likely that we will get reasonable discounts on graphics cards this year.

Where Can I Find the Best Black Friday Deals on Nvidia GPUs?

During our hunt down for the cheapest deals on graphics cards, we came across a bunch of manufacturers on Amazon to keep an eye on this Black Friday and Cyber Week.

ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Ti

Zotac is offering a 39% price cut on the RTX 3090 Ti, the most powerful graphics card in Nvidia’s Ampere line-up. Right now, it’s priced at $1,149 on Amazon, which is roughly $150 to $250 cheaper than MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS, or EVGA.

There are pretty solid chances that this card can fall under the $1,000 price tag around Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so if you’re a fan of 4K and 8K gaming, here’s a great chance to grab it at a stellar value.

ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 3090

Again, ZOTAC grabs the high-end GPU market by offering the RTX 3090 at $981, which is 17% less than the $1,184 it was selling for before. Somewhat surprisingly, the RTX 3090 was launched at $1,500 and it’s now being sold for a price no one ever thought possible.

The cheapest price tag on RTX 3090 right now is offered by ZOTAC, while the second cheapest deal is from MSI, which is selling the RTX 3090 for $1,183 on Amazon. Maybe ZOTAC and MSI will bring more price cuts to the RTX 3090 sometime  in November 2022 to sell even more units.

The RTX 3090 is still a dream for many gamers and we think this is the right time to buy this GPU.

ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 3080 Ti

The RTX 3080 Ti is one of those cards that are selling way below its sticker price. Right now, ASUS is offering this card for $949 on Amazon which is a 24% discount from its regular $1,249 price tag, but if you can spend a bit more cash, then MSI is selling the overclocked version of RTX 3080 Ti for only $1,099.

During our hunt, we also came across GIGABYTE, which offers a $1,019 price tag for this card. However, we’ve found the ASUS version to have better cooling than the GIGABYTE version.

All this said, in our honest opinion, if you’re going to spend over $1,000 to get the RTX 3080 Ti, it’s probably not the wisest way to deploy your cash. If you do have this much budget to spare, then it’s probably better to go for the RTX 3090, which is more powerful than the RTX 3080 Ti.

MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3080

The GEFORCE RTX 3080 is one of those cards where you break the 1080p/1440p ceiling to enter into the world of 4K gaming. While looking for cheaper deals on the RTX 3080 this coming holiday season, we came across MSI and ZOTAC. Both of these manufacturers are selling this card for a reasonable price tag of $739, so it’s a tie between them.

You can keep your eyes on ZOTAC and MSI if you are eager to get the RTX 3080 for a cheaper price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but even now, it’s selling for a way lower price than it was during the Great GPU Shortage. Right now, it’s almost selling close to its list price of $700. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled to see if it drops below the list price between November 25th and 28th 2022.

GIGABYTE RTX 3070

The RTX 3070 was launched by Nvidia for $500, yet during the pandemic, huge demand helped it sell for $700 and above. However, as we get closer to Black Friday, GIGABYTE is selling this card for $539. Previously, it was sold by GIGABYTE for $699.99 on Amazon, so now you can snag a cool 23% discount on this card.

MSI is selling the RTX 3070 for $550, which is slightly higher than what GIGABYTE offers at this point, but we advise you to keep an eye on both of these vendors on Black Friday or Cyber Monday if you want reasonable deals on the RTX 3070 as detail may slightly change.

ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

The RTX 3060 Ti is one of the best mid-range graphics cards on the market. It brings solid performance in 1080p/1440p gaming for the price it comes at. ZOTAC has priced this GPU at $453, which is a 14% drop from the previous $529 tag.

This new price tag is well-below its launch price of $500, but we aren’t sure if it will continue to go further down on Black Friday or even Cyber Monday. We wouldn’t rule out further discounts as this would be the right time for vendors to get rid of the last-generation GPU stock before the latest and greatest hits the shelves.

The way ZOTAC is giving discounts on the RTX 3000 family, it’s a good bet that they have plenty of these cards in stock and might need to decrease prices further later in November as we get closer to the Black Friday and Cyber Week period.

ASUS Dual RTX 3050

The RTX 3050 is the most affordable 1080p gaming card you get this Black Friday. Both ASUS and GIGABYTE are selling this card for only $319 on different marketplaces. It’s a 16% discount compared to what it had been selling for earlier this year.

You can also opt for some overclocked models of RTX 3050 that are being sold for around $400 by ASUS ROG Strix, EVGA, and ASUS, but we’ve found the ASUS DUAL version to be a more valuable option to get this time of the year. The RTX 3050 shows better 1080p performance compared to the GTX 1650 and other chips in the GTX 1600 family. Still, the card is well above the MSRP level, but there are higher chances that it’ll get close enough to launch price as we get closer to Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Best AMD Graphics Cards Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals 2022

MSI Gaming Radeon RX 6950 XT

The Radeon RX 6950 XT gives a bit more performance bump in gaming and professional workloads when compared to its sibling, the RX 6900 XT. It’s the only card from AMD that was meant to beat RTX 3090 Ti, but it couldn’t by any metric we’ve measured.

The RX 6950 XT was launched for $1,100 by AMD, but MSI is now selling the same card for a jaw-opening price of $903. Now, it has a way more affordable price tag for a card that was meant to defeat the RTX 3090 Ti. PowerColor is selling the overclocked version of RX 6950 XT for $1,600, but there are no signs that they would even bring down that price anytime soon.

MSI is giving a 25% discount on this card compared to its previous price of $1,210, but as we move closer to the launch of the RX 7000 Series family of GPUs, we might see a bigger decline in the price of the RX 6950 XT somewhere around Cyber Week or maybe on Christmas 2022.

XFX Radeon RX 6900 XT

If any high-end GPU from AMD is selling well below the launch price right now, then it’s the RX 6900 XT. While looking for the best deals on graphics cards this Black Friday, we came across the XFX listing on Amazon. To our surprise, at the time of this writing (October 2022), they have listed the XFX Radeon RX 6900 XT for $689 (a 19% discount for now)

The only issue is the limited number of cards available in the stock and we don’t know if XFX will be able to keep up with the demand of RX 6900 XT’s as Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2022 comes. But if somehow XFX manages to do that, then this might just be the cheapest GPU deal you’ll ever have.

In the event that XFX runs out of stock, then the second cheapest deal on RX 6900 XT is offered by MSI. As of today, MSI is selling the RX 6900 XT for $729, which is roughly $40 more than what XFX is offering now, however, there’s plenty of RX 6900 XT stock available with MSI. Just like the RTX 3090, the RX 6900 XT is great for 4K gaming, but at the same time, the RX 6900 XT is cheaper than the RTX 3090. If your concern is 4K gaming only, the RX 6900 XT is the one to go with, but if you want to go beyond 4K gaming, (i.e. 8K gaming, ray-tracing and/or DLSS) the RTX 3090 isn’t that expensive to get during this year’s major holiday shopping season.

PowerColor Red Dragon Radeon RX 6800 XT

The RX 6800 XT is smack dab in the sweet spot for 4K gaming in the AMD lineup. During the great GPU shortage, this graphics card went through some serious price hikes and just like the RTX 3080, it was difficult to get the RX 6800 XT at a reasonable price point.

Alas, PowerColor did a great job to drive the RX 6800 XT’s price back to the launch price and with a 19% reduction in price, the PowerColor RX 6800 XT is now sold for $565. Just like the RX 6950 XT, some of the overclocked models of RX 6800 XT are being sold above $700.

There are two other manufacturers ASUS and MSI that we look forward to getting cheaper deals on RX 6800 XT over Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2022.

PowerColor Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT

The RX 6700 XT is a reliable 1440p gaming card in AMD’s RX 6000 family. At the time of its launch, the Founder Model of the RX 6700 XT was priced at $480, but now, PowerColor is offering up to a 14% savings on the RX 6700 XT and is selling it for only $429.

Just like the PowerColor, the XFX is offering the same price tag for the RX 6700 XT. The XFX RX 6700 XT Black Edition packs a bit more clock speed as compared to the PowerColor version, but there’s limited stock of this card available with XFX, so we are not sure if the existing inventory will make it through this Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

If you can spare $50 to $100 from your budget, then we recommend you go with the updated version of the RX 6700 XT: the RX 6750 XT. There’s plenty of stock available of this upgraded version and you should be able to find an affordable deal on the RX 6750 XT compared to the RX 6700 XT.

MSI RX 6600

We did our best to see if we could find the “XT” version of this card, but it looks like manufacturers are more interested in clearing out the existing RX 6600’s from the shelves. A few months ago, this card was being sold for $350 by many third-party GPU vendors, but recently MSI became the first one to sell the RX 6600 for less than its original launch price. It’s now listed for $284, but there’s no certainty that the inventory will last till late November.

At the moment, there are plenty of RX 6600 graphics cards available from MSI, XFX, and GIGABYTE. MSI is selling the overclocked version of RX 6600 for $450, but if you can shell out that, it’s worth spending that much amount to get an RX 6700 XT which is more powerful across the board.

GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6500 XT

The Red team’s RX 6500 XT entered the market to beat Green Team’s RTX 3050, but it didn’t deliver the performance that most budget-oriented users expected out of it. This card was launched for $200, but now GIGABYTE is selling this for $189. If you are looking for super cheap deals on entry-level graphics cards this Black Friday, then this is the one to go with. It’s a good-to-go deal for someone looking to have a cheap graphics card for gaming. But we’ll recommend you spend a bit more cash to get the RTX 3050 if you need stable 1080p performance.

Should I wait for Black Friday and Cyber week for the savings?

In our opinion, the trend of decreasing GPU prices is a good indicator to wait until Black Friday 2022, but there’s no guarantee that the current stock will last through late November.

As most RTX 3000 Series are being sold around or below MSRP level, there’s no sense in holding back from getting one of these until Cyber Monday 2022 if you really want to take the plunge now.

It’s better to make a call and get one of these cards before they run out of stock. The reason we are more concerned about the GPU stock is that the falling prices are compelling users to buy more cards, thus increasing demand and reducing available inventory. Also, the arrival of the latest generation cards from Nvidia and AMD is around the corner. And manufacturers want to clear the old stock to stack in the new one at higher price points.

How do prices compare to last year?

Graphics card prices were often way out of reach over the last two years. Surprisingly, 2022 has brought great relief in the prices of graphics cards with the crash of cryptocurrency and the “Ethereum Merge” event having played a strong role in discouraging (potential) crypto miners from buying more graphics cards.

At long last, GPUs are back in stock and vendors have drastically reduced the inflated GPU prices below or around the MSRP level. On top of it all, we are expecting a newer generation of Nvidia and AMD cards to hit the market in October 2022 and November 2022 and with the arrival of Lovelace and RDNA 3 chips, the cards in the Ampere and RDNA 2 lineup are likely to be in lesser demand.

All of this has caused GPU prices to drastically fall and consumers are gearing up to hunt the best deals on RTX 3000 and RX 6000 cards on Black Friday 2022. High-end cards like the RTX 3090 Ti, RTX 3090, RTX 3080 Ti, RTX 3080, RX 6900 XT, RX 6950 XT, etc. are on the wish list of many Black Friday and Cyber Week shoppers.

We are already seeing steep price cuts on all of these cards, but once Nvidia releases the RTX 4000 Series and AMD ships its RTX 7000 Series cards, we might see an even steeper decline in the prices of now last generation chips.

What Are Some Complementary Products I Can Save On Too?

Black Friday is the best time to upgrade your PC with powerful hardware or to replace a torn peripheral. Like always, it’s not just about a single item to look for on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. There are other eye-catching deals on PC hardware to look at this time of the year.

So what other products can you save on this Black Friday? Honestly speaking, pretty much everything.

If you are more into PC gaming, then you can find the best deals on RAM, SSDs, gaming mice & keyboards, motherboards, high-end gaming monitors, and our most favorite PC cases.

It’s the right time to fill the gaps in your PC setup. Don’t forget that the Black Friday deals on PC hardware usually kick off weeks before the real event. So, you’ll have to keep an eye on the vendors at Amazon, eBay, and Newegg to hunt for the right deal.

You can also use price tracking websites like PriceSpy to find out the cheapest deals related to your desired product on different marketplaces.

For now, we’ve hunted down the most affordable deals on PC hardware that every PC gamers is looking at this Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Features to Consider When Looking for the Best GPU Deals This Black Friday

Just ask yourself what type of work you need from a graphics card, and you’ll get the answer. If you have a high-end gaming monitor on your desk, then you’ll need a powerful graphics card to get the best gaming experience.

Let’s say, you have a 4K gaming monitor, then it’s probably better to go with a high-end graphics card like Nvidia’s RTX 3090 Ti or AMD’s RX 6950 XT as both of these cards offer excellent value in 4K gaming. But each of these has features that the other one lacks. For example, the ray-tracing performance on RTX 3090 Ti is way better compared to AMD’s RX 6950 XT. As a result, if you want the best shadows and visuals in 4K gaming, then the RTX 3090 Ti would be the right option to go with. On the other hand, if all you need is just 4K gaming performance without any ray-tracing or DLSS, then the RX 6950 XT would be a cheaper deal to go with this Black Friday.

In conclusion, if your gaming needs are just limited to 1080p, then there are many cards like the RTX 3070, RTX 3060 Ti, & RX 6700 XT that deliver solid performance in 1080p gaming. Again, you’ll have to look out for different GPU vendors offering the best deals on these cards before Black Friday and Cyber Monday sets up.
